THE COUNSELLE'S VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT GUIDE - 2021

originally published january 16, 2021*

I saw a post on IG a few weeks ago that said something along the lines of “Christmas is next week and all of the gifts are in my head + still in the stores” + I thought: well shit, I’m always ending up here! lmao. unfortunately, I’m the queen of what I like to call “procrastination nation” — doesn’t matter how much time in advance I have to complete something, I will procrastinate until I literally cannot put it off anymore [which is hella counterproductive because I have the worst anxiety + will panic under pressure].

any who, Christmas is over [AMEN to that!] + Valentine’s day is up next! whether you’re taken or entangled [or you know, single but your momma and/or friends get you gifts like me lol], it’s time to start thinking about what to get bae. I wanna implore you guys to not wait until the last minute + don’t be like me [cause lord knows I would be shopping for a Valentine’s Day gift ON Valentine’s Day] cause babyyyyyy, procrastination is GHETTO !!

of course you can’t go wrong with a nice dinner + a giftcard to their favorite store or some flowers, but if you wanna go all out, I’m here for it [cause I’m also the queen of EXTRA] !!

whether you’re on a budget, balling like a scammer, or somewhere in between, my gift guide has got you covered! here are some gift ideas that’ll get the job done at every price point !!
